Marathon Skulls Lo-Fi Poster

West Texas is a tough but beautiful expanse of mountains and desert, tumbleweeds and prickly pears, with lonely highways occasionally punctuated by some of the more fascinating small towns you'll ever encounter.  Best known as the gateway to Big Bend National Park (and a filming location for Paris, Texas), Marathon is a quietly beautiful town on an arrow-straight section of Highway 90.  The skulls on the wall of the Gage Hotel (shot in 2016 with the Hasselblad 500CM) are true West Texas, and speak the same language as a Cormac McCarthy novel.

34 inch x 34 inch poster on 20lb bond paper, originally from medium format film photo, shot with a Hasselblad 500CM camera.

Ships rolled in 36" cardboard tube.
