Stary Browar Lo-Fi Poster

40.00

In Eastern Europe modern architecture dances with remnants of the Soviet era. The walls of Stary Browar, a shopping centre in Poznań, Poland, undulate along, punctuated by narrow, castle-like windows, as if beneath the surface of an agitated lagoon. Shot with a Soviet-made medium format film camera suffering the effects of questionable construction, light leaks into the film from all sides, asking the questions: what is reflection, and what is an artifact of a failing apparatus?

34 inch x 34 inch poster on 20lb bond paper, originally from medium format film photo, shot with a Kiev 88 camera.

Ships rolled in 36" cardboard tube.
